Taking an Android screenshot will be done using your home button and, this will be done depending on where your home button is located on your android device if it does have a visible home button Samsung Galaxy.

Here, the Home button is located on the bottom bezel of the device. Once you have seen it, Press and hold the Home andPower/Lockbuttons at the same time for a few seconds to capture the screen.

The Power/Lock button is always located at the  on the top or upper-right side of the device. 

On devices like the Motorola X Pure Edition, Droid Turbo 2, Google Nexus, and Droid Maxx 2, the physical Home button has been replaced by a screen icon.

If your case is around this area, press and hold the Power/Lock button and the Volume Down button at the same time to take a screenshot.

There is another procedure of taking screenshot using the Motions and gestures feature this is offered by Samsung Galaxy devices.
