Opportunities are open to high school student for personal and academic growth and development. partaking in most of this summer program requires more fee while some are also free.

There are so many schools that make available diverse opportunity for pre college programs, for student to have access to interact visit their campus and take lesson during summer period.

The high rate of application has made some schools scrutinize how school undergraduate spend summer period as a result, some selective programs admit high-achieving students based on merit rather funds.

A lot of summer program are being offered at no cost and or at a low cost and being a part of the program can effectively improve your college application

Summer Programs for High School Students 2023

Anson L. Clark Scholars Programs

This programs solely a research program and is made a open for students in pursuit of diverse academic fields like philosophy, accounting, dance and more.

The Anson L. Clark Program application is made available for candidates from 17 years and above it activities here, comprises of field visits, weekly seminar and more it is a competitive program that accepts 12 students on yearly basis.

Anson L. Clark Scholars Program Eligibility Requirements:

In order to be eligible for this program, interested applicants must be at least 17 years old when the program begins.

Country: International students are open to apply

Location: Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX and the program is Fee: free along with a stipend of $750.

Research Science Institute

The Research Science Institute pairs scientific coursework with a research internship this is done to enable students have a knowledge of the entire research cycle from start to finish.” Students work on individual research projects under the mentorship of veteran scientists and present their findings at the program’s conclusion. RSI accepts 80 students each year.

Location: Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, MA

Cost: Free

Duration: 6 weeks

Tisch School of the Arts Summer Residential High School

At the Tisch School of Arts, one can get education credits and gain experience in different creative fields of study like acting, dance, design, dramatic writing, filmmaking, game design, photography

and imaging, production and design, or recorded music by enrolling in a four-week program at the esteemed Tisch School of the Arts.

The summer program is open for students in 10th or 11th grade cost- $12,000 to $13,000, depends on specific program fees.

Summer Programs – Music and Performing Arts Professions (MPAP)

The NYU Steinhardt provides non-credit summer programs for high school students who have an interest in art, music, and theater.

These programs are designed to enhance your skills and knowledge in these fields.

The programs are available in 1-week, 2-weeks, 3-weeks, or 4-weeks sessions, and are open to students in grades 9 through 12. The cost of the program varies from $1,200 to $5,000.

Urban Journalism Workshop

High School Academy – Career Edge

Career Edge is the premier summer college program, and has served thousands of high school students from around the world in exploring career paths and experiencing what it is like to live on the NYU campus and learn at a renowned US university. Unlike pre college programs, these courses do not offer college credit, but instead immerse you in a professional field

Enrolling in the summer intensives increases your college applications and professional portfolio.  The program is available for students in grades 9 through 11, and the cost is $1,495. Application is open.

summer program – NYU High School Summer Art Intensive

The NYU’s Art and Art Professions Department provides 4-week program for Visual Arts.

The program aims to provide an introduction to the art student experience at a prestigious New York City institution.

The program is designed for students in grades 10 through 12, and the cost is $6,200. Starting in Summer 2023, the program will be conducted on campus.

The 2023 summer program online version will be available, called the NYU Virtual Art Program.
