Activation of CIMB Card
There are two ways to activate CIMB card they include:
- Activation of CIMB card via SMS
- Activate CIMB Card via phone call.
Requirment Needed to Activate CIMB Card
- Your CIMB card,
- Your register mobile number.
Activation of CIMB Credit Card via SMS:
Follow the guidelines carefully in order to activate your card.
Simply send the SMS below by your register mobile number to 79900.
Follow the format below:
ACTVCARD<space>Principal Cardholder’s NRIC/Passport No.<space>16 Digit CIMB Credit Card No. Send this SMS to 79900.
Send the SMS with your register mobile number which is given in the bank.
Send this SMS from 8 AM to 10 PM.
After that, you will receive the message that your card will be activated.
If this method is not suitable for you then do not worry you can choose the next option to activate your CIMB Card.
Activate Credit Card via Phone Call:
Follow the steps carefully in order to activate your CREDIT CARD
Call the number of CIMB hotline (65) 6333 6666.
Follow the instruction and provide the information needed.
Do not worry about the time because the hotline is activated 24 hours.
If you have any problem activating your CIMB card in either of the two methods, then you need to go the Commercial Bank and complain about it immediately.
